Exciting news FAIK fans!!! As you all know, a lot has been happening... And it's time you became involved, YES YOU! 

With new members, and new music coming out, we have decided to shed the skin of our past. 

The days of Forgetting All I Know are over... AND WE ARE READY TO START FRESH!

WE NEED A NEW BAND NAME!!!

WOAH MAN.... We Are in B.C!!!

How life can change in a heartbeat!!! Last that we planned, we were thinking of heading down to the west coast of LAX.... but we settled for Vancouver instead.  West enough for ya? We thought so!!!

So, it has been a while, and trust me we have missed you all... But trust us, THE MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE!

In the transition from Toronto - Vancouver, we have to leave behind the talented, Craig Koziar.  Craig was with us for almost 6 months after Pasha and me pieced this band back together.

But we are ever so glad we did!!!

Already after just two jam sessions here in B.C, we have 2 new songs in the works, and we are making some serious plans to finish the demo we promised!!!

This demo will have 4 songs on it - the best of the last 6 months of hard work among the 15 new songs we had to choose from.

We are currently seeking a new drummer to join the fun... even though it will be tough to replace you Craig!!

I am situated downtown Vancouver in the West End, which is a huge different lifestyle for me! I went from the suburbs of Richmond Hill, Ontario to the busy and lively streets of downtown Van. Pasha is renting a room in a house with a group of REALLY SUPER COOL PEOPLE who don't mind that we transformed one of the spare rooms in the basement into our new jam room.  The walls are lined with old records, there is gear wall to wall, so it has the perfect vibe for creativity!

Next up for us? Keep jamming and finally work on a new episode of BEING THE BAND.... Oh yeahhhhh, remember that channel? We just did too! hehe!

It's Time!

The time has come to make our moves. Tomorrow is the big day we take off to Vancouver! We'd like to thank our fam in Toronto for all the support you have showed us, all the awesome shows we've shared together and the wonderful people we've met on our road while chasing our dreams! We will be back again to rock your socks and make more friends soon, so STAY CLASSY, TORONTO! =) Looking forward to starting another music baby seed in Vancouver and watching it flower. West Coast Bound - Vancouver

Hey guys, don't think we've forgotten all about you (eh, EH? pun pun!). Anyways, times have been so hectic here in the FAIK labs, we're working on our demo here with Woolix, while in the process of our big move out west!

LA is no longer our destination, but Canada's own greatest west coast city Vancouver! We will be all moved in there for July, so VANNY; HERE WE COME! Get ready for some FAIK action up in yo entertainment streets!

While Carm is flying back and forth between T.O and Vanny, I'm getting my shit together for the greatest Road Trip of my life! Photos, videos and blogs will follow as soon as I hit the road! Don't wanna give away too much info but I'll be making a lot of stops along the way to make it a 2 week trip to remember!

As much as we're gonna miss our fam here, we're looking forward to expanding it to Vancouver. I hope we'll receive the same warm welcome into the scene as we did here in Toronto. Keep up with us and stay in touch.

Bloodletting

Faik is coming at you 2013! This song didn't make the cut for our upcoming demo, to be releases late 2013, but I thought I'd share our rough recording regardless. So blessed to be making music with two of the most awesome ppl I know!

This is Bloodletting. A song about *drum roll* heartbreak, insecurities, and struggle. I personally heart this song very much... It invokes much emotion every time I hear/perform it.

So Wednesday March 27 marks the first day of recording for us and we're EXCITED! Can't wait to share with you what we've been working on for the past 10 months! Wow! It's been that long!

Also somewhere in the mix will be our back from the dead show, no dates yet, so don't get TOO excited...

In the meantime if you want to hang out with us, come down to the Horseshoe Tavern @ 370 Queen Street West in Toronto on May 6th, for a rock show I (Pasha) organized. There will be more to come, and you can be sure we're gonna be in the line up soon enough!

Adventure Time with Forgetting All I Know

Hey guys, Pasha here! Sorry it's been a while, life's been kinda hectic for us all here at the FAIK laboratories as of late. Good news is that we have finally started the recording process of our latest demo. Teaming up with a good friend of mine Manny whom I've known since middle school, and possibly recording drum tracks at the Rehearsal Factory. Bad news is that there is no bad news. :( Sorry haters ): At the end of this month we are planning to have the drums completed for 4 songs, and taking our sweet time doing it all because we want some quality in this demo. We've got songs flying out our butts here, and hopefully soon y'all get to hear them all at our next show, which is yet to be announced, but hopefully soon! We've got the LAXPERIENCE episode of Being The Band in it's final stages of editing right now and we'll be documenting the whole Demo Recording experience as well! In Production: FAIK's LAXPERIENCE! (LAX...Experience... Thought It Was Clever!)

Hey everyone! Carm here!
So Pasha and I have been back in Toronto for a few weeks now, and we are still California dreaming.

 While we were down there, we took a LOT, and I mean, a LOT of footage, documenting our experience down in Los Angeles, California. We finally have found a moment to breath in our hectic schedules to start post-production on this and put it all together for the world to see.

In this piece, and not to spoil any big surprises, you will see all the random fun we were up to, and of course, a live performance by us, minus Craig, (our drummer) *tear* down in a trendy, L.A coffee lounge.

 I am still so hyped from band practice, that just ended half an hour ago. We have narrowed down our 14+ songs to 4 for our upcoming demo... EXCITING! This week we will be in checking our different studios and ways we can make this next project become a reality.

Hollywood!

Hey there faikers! We are in LA, West Hollywood, California. Home of the awesome pants and conqueror of all sandwiches! No, seriously, this happens here everyday. 

We are having an amazing vacation here with some really good people, awesome friends and the beautiful weather that we can't seem to get enough of. 

So far we've managed to find one gig at an open mic in Santa Monica, at a place called UnUrban. It was really cool to share the stage with the local talent here, and even cooler when me and Carm won the raffle! We got a $25 gift card to the most awesomest music store here on Sunset Blvd SAM ASH! And bought a tambourine for our next gig here! =D I love the cycle of music!

Another awesome place we got to visit was Universal Studios! The rides were great and we had some Doc Brown's Chicken (The Finest Chicken of All Time)! Also drove through Beverly Hills, AMAZING BALLS HOUSES! Venice Beach on a foggy day made for some wicked eerie footage and fun on the beach. 

I can honestly say that I am in love with this place and never want to leave! So many more adventures laying ahead, I can't wait.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible, Sergei, Carm, residents of 1650 and everyone else we're met so far.

Thank god for open mics. Been too long since we've been on stage.

2013 Things

The holidays are over but the real work has just begun. With LA coming up, so are we with new songs and to tell you the truth, it's hard to decide which ones are gonna make the cut.

So many heart felt songs but not all of them fit together. I never had to think twice about a song before. But at least they won't be gone forever, just temporarily suspended until the time for them will come. Maybe future albums, singles, etc. So much to think about and I'm not getting tired of it at all.

Loving every second of chasing my dreams. I just want to play for people and see their response. I wonder how far we will get and where we'll end up, although I never wanna stop.

This is the time to start getting really prepared for all the shows, planning out tours and the next good move for the band. I got a few ideas for some merch, you'll all find out about that soon enough, hang tight. 

Hope your holidays were a blast and that this year will rock you.
